Bob Marley Mausoleum

Nine Miles is a village situated in the garden parish of Saint Ann in Jamaica. This site is significant since this is the location that the legendary king of reggae, Bob Marley was born on February 6, 1945 and later laid to rest.

Nine Mile also known as City of Zion is home of the Bob Marley mausoleum. It is currently being managed by members of the Marley’s family. The Bob Marley Mausoleum is one of the most popular tourist attraction in the northern section of Jamaica. This is due to the fact that several historical artifacts of Bob Marley are preserved and presented here. These include photographs awards as well as guitars used by the great king of reggae, Bob Marley.

Nine Miles is sentimental since this was where Bob Marley wrote most of his inspirational songs.
